This is a pony I was working on for auction, but it sold as a commission already.... I'm going to be making a turntable for her soon, but this is it as I conceived her. The goggles are removable and sculpted from two-part epoxy, with a wire frame for stability. The headphones have a plastic accessory at their base.

This was my first fashion pony, and I think she turned out fantastic. Coming soon: Big Mac fashion pony

Yes, I take Hasbro-produced fashion style ponies for this and strip them, and repaint and rehair them

I'm planning on modding some fashion sized ponies - very simple question which I *cannot* find the answer to - how much hair do they need - say relatively to the normal brushable pony hanks approximately? It's silly but it's making planning stuff much harder.

They need four times as much hair -- where a brushable may have 60-75 plugs normally, a fashion style has 225-250 plugs. If they have one hair color, usually ordering one shank of hair will be enough.

Ah, because the previous generations ponies were larger/had more hair then the new brushables the hanks are really generous? So one hank of [link] should be sufficient? Sorry for being confused, I'm still waiting for my first hair order.

Yes. You can get through quite a few brushables with one hank of hair, but only one (two if you're lucky) fashion style.
